Good evening Patriot families!  The first week of our second semester is now behind us.  I hope your child has had a good start to the new semester.  Getting off to a strong start in the new semester is so important.  We hope all of our students attend school daily, come into each classroom with a "can do attitude," and do their best to be a good person.  

As our school year gets back into the swing of things so many activities and events have already occurred and/or will be here before we know it.  

I would like to give a shout out to our students who performed in the Holiday Music Showcase.  Students from our band, choir, and orchestra classes did a wonderful job of keeping the Christmas spirit alive all the way into January as they performed their Holiday Showcase twice on Saturday.  We have so many talented and gifted students who really know how to perform and make people smile!

Shout out to our girls wrestling team as they placed 5th in their Regional tournament.  Congratulations to Emma Ellis, Anniston Chesshir and Rylie Waller as they qualified for the individual state finals competition which is on Friday, January 16.  Good luck to those three girls at the state finals!
